ब्रह्माण्डकाव्यम्

जन्मे ब्रह्मा स्वयंभूते, तपोवने मनोज्ञके।

आत्मानं सृजता विद्वान्, शृङ्गे हयाननञ्च सः॥

आदित्ये सृष्टिसंभूते, सप्तर्षिभ्योऽङ्गिरस्य च।

मनुः स्वायम्भुवेऽन्तरे, धर्माद्वामननुग्रहात्॥

त्रेतायां रामरूपेण, धन्यां वाग्देवतां ययौ।

द्वापारे शुकले पक्षे, कृष्णो भगवन् व्यये वयम्॥

अद्य वैकुण्ठलोकस्थो, परमात्मा प्रकाशते।

ब्रह्मा जीवात्मना साक्षात्कालेनावतिर्य च॥

वेदान्तव्यासशिष्येण, यातो नारायणोऽव्ययः।

सर्वधर्मान्परित्यज्य, एकमेवाद्वितीयकम्॥

सृष्टिलीलामखं यत्र, ब्रह्मा तत्र विवर्धते।

सर्वेषां प्राणिनां चैव, जीवनं यत्र जायते॥

अद्य पुनर्जगत्सृष्टिं, करोत्येव पितामहः।

ब्रह्माण्डे सचराचरे, यः परं ब्रह्म सोऽव्ययः॥

ब्रह्माणं प्राणिनां चैव, जीवनं चैतदात्मनि।

सर्वं यत्र प्रतिष्ठितं, तद्ब्रह्म सनातनम्॥

In the dawn of creation, from the sage Angiras’ lineage bright, Manu emerges, the embodiment of dharma, guiding us with wisdom’s light.

In the Treta age, as Lord Rama, grace incarnate, he did dwell, Bestowing divine speech, uplifting the devas, a tale the sages tell.

Dvapara age witnessed Krishna, in the radiant fortnight’s sway, Divine and eternal, his presence illuminated the cosmic play.

Today in Vaikuntha, the Supreme Self shines forth, Brahma, in human form, descends, revealing his infinite worth.

By Vyasa, disciple of Vedanta’s wisdom, the eternal Narayana proclaimed, Renouncing all paths, embracing the one truth, the indivisible truth unclaimed.

Where creation’s spectacle unfolds, Brahma’s grandeur takes flight, The life of all beings, in his being, ignites, ever shining bright.

Now once again, the cosmic canvas, Brahma paints anew, In the grand universe, with its moving and unmoving, he continues, ever true.

In Brahma, in beings, in life’s pulsating essence so grand, Lies the eternal Brahman, the foundation, the unchanging stand.
